Menthol Monday: Omega Silver Handle Super Speed/new Sharp New Proraso White SS Svoboda AS Balsam Barbon AS Oscar de la Renta Pour Lui EDT The new Proraso White soap has the same lovely scent, but the lather and the skincare are even better than the original version which is also excellent. It has green tea and oatmeal instead of green tea and aloe vera. The menthol effec t is not the strongest, but it's still good enough for me. The Svoboda balsam and Barbon aftershave are practically magical with their cooling and healing effects.

Still a bit hot and muggy in Hong Kong so I was looking forward to this morning's menthol shave routine. I added a few drops of M-Bomb to the Arko Commando shave cream and shave gel. Very nice. I think the glycerin in the M-Bomb helps improve the later. This morning I tried spreading the shave cream on my face and then I face lathered. Hmm... excellent! The combination of an ultra sharp blade paired to a mild razor just provided a great way to start a Monday. Two passes on face, three passes and light buffing from the jawline down provided an excellent true BBS.

This week: Using my new-to-me GEM Pushbutton (from the TSD store) with Queen Charlotte Shave Sage soft soap (custom scent). QCS soft soap, with an undercoat of RazoRock brushless, provide me with enough cushion and slip to SE shave. Otherwise, no go.

5/8 Bema MWF Semogue 1800 Well, I took the Bema back to the hones one more time for a little touch up and the results were superb. Excellent shave. Three times to get it right, I guess that's what you call sneaking up on the edge, lol. I used my Semogue 1800 and MWF, what a great combo to use together. The 1800 will see a lot more playing time in the future. I'll be bring in another of my ebay finds tomorrow or the next day, I got lucky, it's a real pearl. Have a good one. P.S. Monday 24 September Great start to the day with a long hot shower. Prepped my face with Prairie Creations pre-shave soap. Following the tradition of "Menthol Monday" soap choice was Derby Menthol Brush choice today was the Parker "King Badger" Day two of the dynamic duo the Gillette "Super Adjustable" and the Chroma. Dialed up to #7 for the two passes, dialed down to #4. This duo performance resulted in a near perfect DFS. Followed a great shave with generous splashes of cold water, followed with rubbing of alum, then the face Osage Rub Everyone have a super week.
