Think we could get some mileage out of this thread, renaming it to
'Shave Fueled Hauls' or similar and giving it a sticky.

So here is a Vintage Wash Basin and Stand purchased a while back, not directly related but fueled by the shave collectible thing.
Sits outside my soon to be Shave Den.

The curio case purchased a few weeks ago to add
something above the wash basin stand.

Somewhere Hoosier Trooper posted about round Ziplock containers for soap storage, so when we were shopping today I found them in the supermarket. Ziploc XS (extra small) "smart snap" bowls; 6 for <$3. Finally I get my AnchorHocking galss bowls out of the B'room! These things are perfect IMO! Inexpensive, unbreakable, covered, and a perfect size.

I have been trying to come up with a clever answer to this post for awhile, but it evades me. There are so many non-shaving items that I have adapted or tried to adapt that I cannot list / remember them all!

These 'Enduro' food storage containers from the dollar store here are perfect for pucks, small or large.

I guess it's not exclusive to shaving but I bought a fogless shower mirror from Amazon that is one of the wisest purchases I've made:

I bought some plastic squeeze bottles for pre-shave oils, a metal lip balm container to keep my blades and a silicone bowl (made for mixing hair dye, at salons) for a lather bowl. Also, some 5-minue epoxy for gluing knots into handles.

    Pill bottles for brush handles.

The small one fits tightly into the larger one which is slip proof even when covered with lather.

The 22mm finest badger knot is a tight friction fit into the black bottle.

This is perfect for arthritic or large hands.

This is my favourite of my 10 different brushes.

And this is my brush rack.

Made of single plastic brush holders at $2.99 each. From Ian Tang.
They are hot glued on to a strip of pine 1/4" x 1-5/8" wide and painted white.
Each individual stand has a letter from M to S for the day of the week. I rotate them so each day is a new adventure.

My medicine cabinet cum shaving cabinet.

Top row - Tall bottles and stand up tubes.
    Next - Medicines.
Next - After shave lotions, Comb & brush, adhesive tapes, emergency apple juice (I'm diabetic).
Next - Shaving creams and soaps.
Lower unenclosed shelf - My brushes and now unused scuttle.

    PatrickA51,

I apologize for the brevity of my response before.
    Someone was ringing the doorbell.

I purchased the medicine cabinet at Ikea in Toronto.

As with all their products it has a name. "HEMNES".
The glass interior shelves are fully adjustable and removable and, hence, easy to clean.
There are mirrors on both the outside and inside of the doors.
With a little push the doors will close themselves.

Both the dresserette which is 4' long and its counter top, which is one piece with the sink, are 4'.
I have had the dresserette mounted 36" from the floor instead of the usual 30" or 32". No more aching back.
The dresserette has 4 very large drawers mounted 2'x2'. Lots of storage space for everything including my collection of 14 Rolls Razors in one of them.

If you want any more information just ask.

A couple of non-shaving items now used strictly for shaving...

    Rubber stamp carousel...

    Bronzed Tooth brush holder...

...used for holding four DE razors (see in background left) and shaving brushes (right background).

..a 'medicine free' Medicine cabinet—now purely for shaving gear. Inset in wall, very low profile when closed.
Downside is, I still need another two of these to hold stuff...;)
