My go to is a EJ DE87 with I believe they are wilkinson sword blades.... Forgive me I'm still very new to all of this
If you dunk it in 99% alcohol after each shave and strop it by hand or on the leg of your pants before each shave, you'll avoid rust and get far more mileage out of them. Good call on the Damaskene, too.
My current "Go-To" razor is a Gold Ever-Ready 1912. I can't even begin to share how much I love shaving with this beauty!
I have not yet. I have one on the way as well as an Ever-Ready Lather Catcher. I can't wait to try both.
I use my 1924 everday and like it alot. Although the head does seem to trap water more then the 1912 head, so you do have to pay a little mind to letting it drain. After you rinse hold the head cocked down as normal, but with a corner pointed down so the water can come out easily. You'll see what I mean once you use it. The Lather Catcher is neat, but I don't like it as much as the 1924 or a 1912....
Executive Fat Boy, #4 first pass WTG, #6 XTG x 2. Nearly BBS, no irratation, love this razor. On business travel when I check a bag I take my FT Rocket. Couldn't stand to lose my Executive...Wouldn't be happy to lose the rocket either though.
Mine still has to be the Feather AC blade handle with the Proguard blades. Excellent blade with a real 2 pass shave.
1963 I-3 Super Speed birth year razor with Gillette 7 o'clock black blades. Got a 1948-50 Super Speed to pick up Friday hoping for great shaves from it as well!
