1. Justin the DB is high on my want list so I'm slightly jealous. Looks awesome, what color combo did you get? I have tried most of T&H creams and Trafalgar is one I would like to get the complete line of. (when I use my current stock up in 2029, estimated)

  2. That is a sweet deal. I thought the same thing and picked up 3. I just can't stop adding to my cart until I hit free shipping.

My royal shave order came the other day. First time buying any of these. They receive too much praise not to try.

  4. I got berry rim on blue. Original is big enough for me and it was worth every penny :). I may load up on more of the high end British creams though on tax return time as they are quickly becoming my favourites.

  5. What's up with the tub of Jermyn Street? Is that a metal lid? I've only seen it come in the black plastic tub.
  6. Yep, seems like they're coming in metal tins now, however seems like all the other scents are remaining in a plastic tub.

  11. I think I'm addicted to Pasteur's Pharmacy in NYC. I went back today for the third time in 5 days. P.S I live an hour and 15 minutes away in New Jersey.
Picked up a new Merkur 25c, a new pack of blades, and some MWF soap.
$60 bucks later, and I'm a happy camper.
They have everything I want, except for TSD Iced Sub Zero, which I will be ordering soon.[IMG]

  12. Good stuff. Pasteur's is a fun place.
  13. Yes it is. Next week I'm going to try the other location on Lexington Ave. I've only been to the one on 34th St.
Have you been to either location?
  14. Yes, Lexington Av.
  15. So you're a local as well. Awesome! You should get them to stock TSD soaps. I know I would buy a bunch of them. I like to look, touch, feel, smell before I buy. Just in case I don't like something.
    OCD is a real bear!!!

Edit: sorry Sara, I got you confused with Joanna.
  16. Man I'd love to be able to go smell all the scents in person so I know which ones I like. Next time I'm in NYC I'm going to need to track this place down.
  17. The place is just incredible. Soooooo much stuff. Today was the quickest visit, 30 minutes, only because my wife was with me and she wanted to go eat. I'll be back on Monday, lol!
  18. A great day for me yesterday at the antique stores.

At the first one I found this Old Spice mug for $3, and the Colgate shave stick holder for $2. The blades in found while going through my Dad's things later that day.

Then I stopped at my "honey hole". This is an antique mall between my place and my folks place. I stop here nearly every time I go to visit them and I have gotten so many great buys, particularly from one booth. Well the owners of that booth happen to be there yesterday and I had a great talk with them They got a kick out of the fact that not only had I been buying up most of their razors, but that I actually clean them up and use them. Yesterday I picked up a silver flare tip super speed, a 40's style super speed, a lady gillette, and a slim adjustable from those guys, and left behind an injector, a travel tech, and an Autostrop because I already have those. All that I bought were pretty clean, except the 40's style. I can't even pick the date code off it.

Then, as I was working my way to the front, I happen to catch this Swastika Razor Hone. Now I'm not sure if I can use this thing or not for the straight I just bought, but I was intrigued enough to pick it up. I figured worst case I can sell it and get my money back. Any ideas how to safely get the tape residue off this?

  19. Nice finds! I'm no expert but WD-40 usually takes tape residue off other things pretty well. I'm not sure if it would hurt the hone though.
  20. Somehow, more Body Shop showed up at my door. This time, maca root deo, maca root sc tube (for travel), and the washable shave oil.
