I think you have great ideas to super-lather - but I could never allow myself to diminish the cooling effect of Palmolive Cool or any other nice menthol cream or soap. I want all the freeze I could get!

 

Hahaha, I was just waiting for you to show up and comment on diminishing the power of the menthol
I just had to try it, in my mind the combination of the two was perfect...and it is. But next time I'll have to up the dosage of the Cool to get a bit more frigid feeling

It was a pretty good shave, I'm starting to get better shaves and have been shaving everyday lately instead of every few days.

Okay, I tried out my newest menthol creation today. WHOA!! I can honestly say that it contains too much menthol. I sat there stunned for a moment while I waited for my face to return from Pluto!! I will have to cut it with some more witch hazel. Luckily I saved some of my plastic spray bottles from my TSD witch hazel products (which are excellent by the way). The TSD bottles are bit larger than the one shown above so they should work well.

I tried the Titan again today with the "R" baseplate and a new PolSilver blade. The shave was very close and comfortable with no nicks or cuts. I haven't used my big silvertip brush for quite some time. I can't explain why I keep overlooking this brush, it's so nice. I will definitely have to use it more often. The Baxter's is a really great ASB and Brut always leaves you smellin' like a man, dang it!

My shave today took me to exotic Bangladesh where this Ice Cool cream is from. The barbershops over there use this stuff a lot, and it performs like a champion. Fresh, lemony scent, TONS of lather, and it really is "ice-cool" - the menthol effect hits you good. After my shave I crossed the imaginary border into India for some Anherb conditioner which is one of the best face-freezing aftershave moisturizers ever produced, and then I travelled to Italy in my mind for some Floid Classic aftershave splash which delivered a final delightful menthol slap. What more can I ask?

1 1/2 pass perfection...You know these Personna re-brands sometimes are a little inconsistant...I'd say at worse, the first couple shaves might be a tad rough but get better and better for a solid week of fine shaving...normally good from shave one and reminding me of the Platinum Plus'es....and at best; like this blade...I've lost count of how many shaves but this blade feels like a Personna 74....just everything I could wish for in a blade....a real dream
