Picked up a new shave bowl at the local kitchen shop, some Eucalyptus Dr. Bronners for the sink and needed some fruit so Key Lime KMF sounded good to me. The bowl is perfect, even has some texture inside to provide a little giddy up. Perfect size for my big paws.
I am pleased that my replacement SOC board brush has arrived. The original one had a dent in the handle. I look forward to using this guy over the next few weeks. Lyndon
Well actually I do have a question two of these look like the 40s style rockets but have machined baseplates and are quite heavier
Found some fun in my own mailbox as well: :mail: 4 Star blades (NOS) 10 Valet Autostrop blades (NOS) 1 Rolls Razor blade (NOS as well, I guess; no marks of usage)
Well, I'm not an expert at all, but maybe someone else knows. You might post your question in the 'safety razors' forum?

WOW! Some hauls these days, King! Are you starting a shave shop? Or are you making ready for The Shavocalypse? Great going!
Just preparing who knows when they'll stop making blades,I still have more on the way I think I'm going to need to buy some soap next though
This is me every time I see one of King's hauls. Looks like your buying out all the competition then setting up a monopoly on vintage razors
Some may be Aristocrat Jr's. (No 51...I believe) I have used/owned many types of rockets so post some closer pics and me or someone else should be able to help.
I received an unexpected gift from my newest brother-in-law yesterday. I was a bit overwhelmed at his kindness. A beautiful Timber Wolf pocket knife made in Pakistan out of Damascus steel. The file work is awesome and the scales appear and feel to be bone. Looking down from the top onto the blade, using a jewelers lupe, I counted at least 12 folds of the steel. These pictures don't due it justice, but until I get a better c amera, it's the best I can do for now. Same camera, differ ent lighting = much better pics.
On the plus side, with your current stash of blades, not even your great grandchildren will need to buy any.
Well I figured I just needed enough for 70 years but I got a little carried away only reason I have been bringing in such large hauls of razors is I want to try one out of the lot and its cheaper to buy them all then just the one I want individually most of the time
