Hi lads, Geordie Sam here, there is a British Hymn called "I Vow To Thee My Country" which is a patriotic song, but in a good way, not a Nationalistic way, it could just as easily be about the "United States," it has the most stirring lyrics and music you could ever wish to hear, if you have the time, please look it up on "You Tube". It is truly a beautiful song. I direct a church choir and we have used that song for patriotic occasions. It is always moving and powerful.
