Gillette Tech w/ Astra SP Omega Silvertip Tcheong Fung Sing Tabacco Verde Pinaud Clubman I'm really loving the TFS. I feel an order of some of their other scents coming my way.
TSD PSB Mama Bear SS - Awakenings Frank Finest Brush Titan Razor (with M1 base plate) Shark Blade (1) 444 ASG 4711 ASL I have used up most of my TSD shaving products. One of my very favorites was the Winterfresh witch hazel with added menthol. For today I included TSD pre-shave balm. The instructions say to wash it off but I usually leave it on and it doesn't seem to have an adverse effect on the lather. This was the second shave with the MB Awakenings soap. It is pretty cold but I think I prefer the scent of MB "Bear Ice" more. Although the Shark blade resides in my box for "average" blades, it did a pretty good job today in the Titan. I am very pleased with this razor. The end cap is thin and the head of the razor is slightly thinner than average with very accurate corners. Truly a precision shaving instrument. The 444 ASG seems very good but compared to Vifrex it is not as chilling and my skin remains a bit tacky for a while after applying it. The 4711 smells somewhat similar to Alcolado. Quite nice. Cheers, Lyndon

Prep: Warm shower, TBS Tea Tree face wash, Billy Jealousy scrub. Brush: Vulfix Burlington Pure Badger. Razor: Gillette Ball End Tech. Blade: Personna Lab. Soap: Proraso White. Post: Cold water rinse, patted my face dry, Thayer's WH Lavender, Barbon AS splash, Nivea Sensitive on the goatee area. Well I finally participated in a Menthol Monday. My face feels smooth, lets hope no irritation shows tomorrow. Wish me luck on my test for a job!
Tuesday: Axe Chilled Facial Wash #6 Horsehair Super Speed/Goal day 2 SuperMax Menthol SC Axe Chilled AS Gel Alcolado Glacial Menthol Splash YSL Pour Homme EDT I really like these Goal blades - they give terrific shaves. I'm using the last one, and when it's finished I hope I could find some more. The SuperMax Menthol cream gave me such a delightful cooling sensation which the Axe Chilled gel and the Penguin intensified greatly.
Shave of the Day (SOTD) Tuesday February 26, 2013• Prep: Brush soaked in hot water, warm shower • Razor: Merkur Mergress XL • Blade: Polsiver Stainless (3) • Brush: GDC Handle with Ace Shaving 22mm High Density Silvertip • Soap: De Vergulde Hand Extra Fris made into a soft soap (croap) • AS: Aqua Velva Classic Ice Blue • Post: Cold Water Rinse, double splash of aftershave For me it is a virtual tie between the Mergress XL and Merkur 37C HD for best razor. Nothing is more more effective for my face than these two, which is one of the reasons I have been reducing my razor collection. My Tabac container was empty, so I filled it with the De Vergulde Hand Extra Fris made into a soft soap. As you can see by the picture it is somewhat softer than the Proraso. It is really so easy to make...grated soap and hot water. I have tried other variations which included the addition of glycerin, shea butter, and even KMF. I find that just by adding moisture it becomes the perfect consistency, making it effortless to load even the softest brushes. Another great shave, slightly less than a BBS, but fast and easy.

@crackstar:Hi Jeff. Can you tell something about your Axe Chilled equipment...I didn´t saw it here in Germany or is it still a product in the US or Canada?! Is it comparable with the Proraso Products?! Greetings

took it easy on my face today used my first razor a concord its a very mild comfortable razor. My whipped dog silver tip and pyrate cove bay rum and lime soap. I let my puck soak overnight and wow! Oh the lather lol. Used sara s recipe for pre shave oil for the first time and it was amazing. Only did two passes wtg and xtg. I still ended up with a very close presentable shave. Finished off with some witch hazel and essential oil mix and I'm loving my day its a shame when now what I call a close presentable shave is ten times better than I ever got with a cartridge
