2 Shaves today. I tore up my neck with my new injector so I'm taking it easy, no BBS for a while.

    Morning Shave

    Hot Towel
    Pyrates Cove Bay Rum
    P3 Super Adj. Long
    Shark Blade
    Cold Rinse
    WH
    Nivia PS Balm
    Pinaud VI Bay Rum AS

    WTG, XTG, RXTG

    Evening Shave

    Hot Shower
    VdH Deluxe
    GEM 1912
    Gem Blade (Walgreens) (2)
    Cold Rinse
    Alum
    WH
    Nivia PS Balm
Clubman diluted with WH for dinner scent.

    WTG, XTG, ATG

Stayed away from the one usual problem area today. Just trying not to feel the light stubble in that spot. Grrr. Knew I shouldn't have went ATG with that injector on the neck.

Got great shaves everywhere else. I like 2-a-days!!

2 shaves in one day? Impressive. Although I have done it once and paid for it lol. I also was taking it easy on my face today

    Good evening Thorsten!

This Axe Chilled stuff is very new to North America. There is no lather shaving cream from it to my knowledge, although there is a shaving gel in a can which I wouldn't waste my time with. The facial wash is very cooling and pleasant - it leaves the skin well-moisturized, and it apparently improves the razor glide. The aftershave gel is even stronger in the cooling sensation with WONDERFUL skincare. The scent takes some getting accustomed to, but it's more pleasant than I first thought it would be. Eventually I'll write a detailed review on both of these products. I would say it's completely different than Proraso. :)

    Prep: shower, VITOS pre/post
    Razor: Merkur 37c
    Blade: Astra SP (2)
    Brush: Bestshave #6
    Scuttle: "Estremoz" V2 Green
    Soap: Cella
Post: alum, Thayers unscented w/ TSD M-bomb
    Aftershave: VITOS after shave balm

I ordered samples of both VITOS products together with my order of 100 Personna Med Prep blades on connaughtshaving.com. Both products are amazing. The pre/post cream is a bit harder and smoother in texture compared to Proraso, but I found it spreads on the face much easier and does a better job at least for me. After shave balm is alcohol free and made with shea butter and menthol. Makes your skin feel smooth and and fresh at the same time.

Man Jeff, I got Osage Rub and now I'm going to have to get the new Axe stuff. I see they are theoretically available at Target, therefore I shall go there and purchase them. I blame you and not at all my own weakness.

Smooth as silk again and feeling great the Axe Chilled stuff leaves the skin feeling cool and clean so the shave turns out even better than ever. The Russian version of Viking Sensitive cream has awesome lather and a nice scent, and the cooling sensation is surprisingly strong. (I love it!) The end of the shave was an absolute pleasure thanks to the Rubby Dubby! ;) :D

    Happy Humpday everyone!

RSC Shave Oil, heated (1st pass)
    Proraso Pre-Shave (2nd & 3rd passes)
    Proraso Cream
    "The Grosvenor" :)
    Dovo Best 5/8 Full
    Blue Floid

I woke up real early so I thought I'd treat myself to a nice long pampered shave. I'm getting used to the straight, but I was a little backwards this morning. For some reason I did 2 passes N-S and then did a S-N pass at the end. My neck is pretty irritated because of this I think. For me, N-S is WTG on my cheeks, XTG on my jaw and ATG on my neck. I think I need to go the other way AND I think I could probably get away with shaving everyday with the straight (DE's I can't, my skin don't like it).

    Proraso PSC
    Musgo Real SC
    Georgetown G4 Scuttle (Thanks Moe!)
    Omega 31064 Boar
    Thayer's Witch Hazel
    Nivea Replenishing ASB
    British Sterling Cologne

First time using the Georgetown Scuttle and I am very happy with it's performance. Filled and Microed it for 90 seconds and it was good for the entire shave. The water temp went from 200+F to 120F in 15 minutes of use but, the lather was still nice warm at the end of three passes. I have retired my Robert Becker Scuttle and will use the G4 due to it's bigger lather bowl. I didn't like the way my brushes were banging the sides of the narrow deep bowl on the Becker and they work in the G4 bowl just fine. :happy088:
