I found it at Kroger, but it wasn't with the shave stuff. It was on the bottom shelf by all of the afro hair products and cocoa butter....

003.JPG I used to have an afro when I was younger, so that's right up my alley. Too bad no Kroger's here in Baltimore that I'm aware of. Will have to check CVS though.

Dang son, you had some curly hair. Mine gets a slight curl once it gets about an inch and a half long, but it hasn't been that long since I was 14.

Kroger is the largest grocery store chain in America (Wiki). If you scroll to the bottom of Kroger's website, you'll see the dozens of store names Kroger owns. I'm not familiar enough with Baltimore grocery stores to tell you which Kroger-owned stores are in Baltimore, but I'd be very surprised if there were none.

Good call, I looked it up. The only stores they own in Maryland are jewelry stores believe it or not. O well, I'll just pick it up with my next order from the TSD store. :)

My order from Mike's came in today. I got my Barbershop stick and samples of Orange, Cedarwood, and Black Pepper, Lavandin & Eucalyptus, and Bay Rum.

Did a bit of antique picking today... can't wait to clean the tech up and see when it was actually made. Any info on the blades? They appear to be blued...

Here in the Bay Area Walmart carries Florida Water in the Hispanic product section. Walgreens likewise has Superior 70 Bay rum in locations in prodominantly Mexican neighborhoods .

This restore turned out so damn good I had to show it off. Quite a bit of work went into the razor and the price I payed was so good for it I just have to keep her. Can anyone tell me what this razor is called. The description said "bostinian" or something like that. I finished this one along with 4 others I am going to be either putting online with the brushes I recently restored or to pass on to other new wetshavers. A little more polishing on the edges and this baby will be good to go. Enjoy this razor porn.

To me it looks like a tuckway handle attached to a NEW (type) head. The Bostonian has a different handle and head.

Is there any way to get rid of the "brassing" on the knurling of the handle?

At some hardware stores there is a brass/copper polish in a silver bottle, I cannot think of the name right now. Use that with a toothbrush and water and the soap suds will start turning grey. Do that several times until the suds are no longer grey and then use a gold polishing cloth. It takes a little while and a good bit of elbow grease, but it will come off 90% of the time.

Not at all shaving related, and not really mine either...but I thought I'd throw it up.

Today in the mail we got a package from my brother (lives in Japan). It was a package for Ruby. In it is an assortment of baby Hello Kitty items and the best is the Catbus rattle (from My Neighbor Tororo)
