Had a great BBS shave with the new Gem Feather Weight. It was as if there was no blade in the razor. I did two passes and a touch up for a baby's bottom smooth shave. Will do. I was actually thinking about my repeater the other day. I wonder if anyone would touch that for a replate or if it's too complex to take apart for that.

This week's shaves did not turn out precisely as I had them planned. Plan A, which was so far carried out only twice this week, consisted of my usual routine: - Musgo Real pre-shave oil - Calani Purissima shave soap - Muehle Basic Nr 02 shave brush - The Cobra Classic SE razor - Feather Professional SE blade - Bloc Osma alum - Musgo Real Classic after shave Plan B is my 'fast track shave' for very fast shaves acceptable up to about 4pm, had to be carried out twice as well (usually it's that many times per month, certainly not per week) due to me getting up late. Plan B consists of: - Logona Mann shave cream - Muehle Basic Nr 02 shave brush - Gillette Sensor 2 Excel (hey, it does have 2 blades, so technically that does qualify as a double edge, doesn't it? ;-) - Musgo Real Classic after shave Maybe I should tuck in a wee bit earlier in the coming days so that I can actually get up at my usual 06h00 and not rush my shaves...
Thursday: Axe Chilled Facial Wash #6 Horsehair Super Speed/7 AM day 4 Arko Ice Mint SC Svoboda AS Balsam Alcolado Glacial Menthol Splash YSL Pour Homme EDT BBS again without any effort thanks to my Super Speed/7 AM duo which has proven itself so many times. The Ice Mint is by far, my favorite Arko cream with its lovely scent, crazy-rich lather, and awesome menthol effect. The Svoboda balsam and the Penguin rounded everything out beautifully.

Finally Friday! Managed to close off the week with my normal set-up of Musgo pre- & after shave, the spece between these two filled with Calani shave soap, Muehle shave brush and the Cobra Classic with a Feather Professional blade. Oh, and the Bloc Osma alum. Have a nice weekend, everyone.
Friday: #6 Horsehair Super Speed/7 AM day 5 Proraso Blue SC Lubriderm unscented moisturizer Booster Mosswood AS YSL Pour Homme EDT Today I skimped on the menthol because our weather turned cold again and also because I felt that my skin needed some extra care. The Proraso Blue cream still cools slightly and it's very soothing. The Booster Mosswood is a Canadian classic and a major keeper for me. What a great shave! Have a great weekend, folks!
