No plate loss. No rust. Some light use marks on the head. Excellent to near mint condition! I'll just let the pictures do the talking here.
Nice. I have one of those as well, but yours is in much better condition. I don't shave with it often enough, though. I need to rotate it in more often.
I know, right? The guy selling it had no idea what it was and just wanted quick cash.... It was probably his grandpa's at one time and he just needed gas money. I saved it and will keep it from rotting away.... I can't believe it's 67 years old, I just wish the box lining was in better shape and that the blade bank was still there.
The case isn't that bad for the age. Blade banks pop up all the the time if your wanting to complete it. I wouldn't worry about the missing bank. Kind of funny I have an aristo bank but no razor. lol
Can you imagine the G.I. who had been shaving outta his helmet for for three years in the jungle just a little while before his wife got him that?
That's humbling to think about... I estimate it hasn't been used for about 40 years the kind of shape it's in and the type of blade that was still in the razor... It was well loved by its previous owner.
