OMG, we're not only starting a new week, we're starting a new month! Menthol Monday: Gatsby Ice Cooling Gel Facial Wash #6 Horsehair Super Speed/new Rapira Palmolive Cool SC Anherb AS Conditioner Osage Rub AS Azzaro Pour Homme EDT Any day where I don't use menthol stuff makes me feel like something is missing, so the next day I make it a point to go all-out. The Gatsby facial wash is equally as cold as every item I'm using, as well as the Rubby Dubby Doo. I have a feeling the Rapiras are my favorite blades at the present time.

Monday's shave: Prep: hot washing cloth Music: Wim Mertens, Receptacle Brush: Omega travel boar Soap: Institut Karité Razor: Rolls Razor Imperial no.3 Shave: 3-pass + touch-up Post: hot water rinse, cold water rinse, DVH alum, DR Harris Bay Rum AS Day off today so I could take the time. Reasonable shave today. Het blade still needs some sharpening. The triple milled soap is really soft and creamy (it should, for it contains 25% cream). The scent is barely noticable but nice. Have a great weel ya'll!

Monday -- SE Week Cerve unscented cleanser TSD unscented soap Muhle hjm black fibre brush Schick injector with Schick blade Cerve unscented lotion Took me a few minutes to get back my muscle memory on using the injector. Shallow angle -- head almost flat against the face; no pressure; slow, smooth strokes. I did three passes, got a satisfactory, but not quite BBS result. Little bit of irritation on the chin -- careless with the angle there. Love the variety!
Monday morning. Axe Chilled face wash Shave Secret Van Der Hagen SS Van Der Hagen Boar Brush Astra SP (2) Edwin Jagger DE89 razor Witch Hazel (Walgreens generic) Captain's Choice Bay Rum AF Nivea post aftershave balm Wow! What a combo! An amazing BBS. Today I was up early and able to take my time more than usual. I went back to the Van Der Hagen puck to make my own lather, and the lather turned out really good. There is no describing how good the Astra and Edwin Jagger razor feels, three passes and touch-ups was effortless. I am working to improve my buffing and it is paying off. I can go ATG much easier with the Astra/Jagger combo. No weepers or cuts. I strived for lightness of touch and had no trouble with the neck today. Aces!
Monday: Cetaphil Face Bar Cella Witch Hazel Axe Chilled A.S. Gel Brut Dominant EJ Best Medium Dovo Natural 5/8 round tip First time using the Axe and I didn't notice any cooling, as it usually needs to get to Alcolado Glacial standards for me to feel it. That said it makes your face feel great, nice and smooth with no heavy feel like some balms leave you with. Also the first go with the new Brut Dominant, and man what a great scent this splash has. It really reminds me of something else but I can't put my finger on it. It's light and crisp, but with no citrus or floral scent to it. I give it

I need to put it in a more prominent spot because, this Lilac SS is wonderful! I love the scent and it's performance is supurb! Topped off with the Royal Copenhagen ASL (a fav from decades past) today's shave with the Progress/Crystal combo was a complete success. A great start to a beautiful spring week!

Oh I miss the lathering, but it's still performing way better than I would have expected. I've been using it on my face and head for....I think 3 days now and it's been DFS+ every time.
