I like your style! One of the reasons I bought an E2. And I'm looking at a Semoque brush to possibly buy.
(I'm going to have to start taking pics - you guys have such great pics it makes me want to swipe the stuff off of your counters! LOL) Sunday: MUCH better shave! Prep: Shower, Shea Moisture facial scrub, hot steamy towel, Anthony Logistics Pre-shave Oil Brush: Frank Shaving Best Badger *(it's maiden voyage - NICE!) Razor: Merkur 180 Blade: Lord Super Stainless Post: Cold compress, Clubman Styptic Pencil, Oil of Olay Toner, Shea Moisture Tea Tree Herbal Aftershave Elixir This shave was much better than my last debacle. I'm not too keen on the Lord blade after all, but at least I understand why. I'm guessing it's not as sharp as the Wilkinson (my only point of reference so far but they give me a good, easy shave). I can't get as close without adjusting the pressure on the blade and as little hair as I had, they seemed to be tugging or something. I'll try them one more time, in the Slim Adjustable. I would like to see if there are any conditions for which I would use this blade. Probably not, but I'm new and want to give them a fair shot. I still enjoyed my shave very much.
Menthol Monday for this guy! Prep: hot shower, Axe Cooling Face Wash, Billy Jealousy Sucker Punch Scrub. Brush: Vulfix Burlington. Cream: Proraso Green New Formula (first use, will review later.) Razor: '70 Gillette Aluminum Tech. Blade: NOS Gillette Super Stainless blade. Post: cold water rinse, Thayer's WH Lavender, Barbon AS, Axe Cooling AS gel. Well, this shave was pretty smooth. I haven't used the new Proraso Green before tonight. I used the old formula and something in it really made my face break out. I hope it doesn't happen with the new formula. If it's not all the chemicals that were in the old one, then I'm probably allergic to Eucalyptus. I'll post a review on Proraso here in a few.
SOTN Forgot it was Menthol Monday until I had the Musgo on. Made up for it a little at the end. Nice and loud, mows down whiskers like my 54in Hustler in dry summer grass! Really nice OC shave. 3 Pass with a few touch ups.

Tuesday Pre: Hot shower Cream: Trumpers Rose sample Brush: TGN 22mm Black Badger reknot Razor: G8 injector Blade: Schick (2) and 2 passes Post: Cold Water Rinse Aftershave: Masters Bay Rum Cologne: Pour un Homme de Caron Didn't defunk the brush enough before using for the first time. Stink when I started lathering overpowered the Rose SC. Only did 2 passes due to the smell. The TGN Super Silvertip I bought previously didn't need much destinking, this black badger is going to require I bit more I see.
Tuesday: NXT Facial Wash #6 Horsehair Super Speed/Rapira day 2 Bozzano Sensitive SC Visal AS Gel Alcolado Glacial Menthol Splash Azzaro Pour Homme Stick Deodorant Azzaro Pour Homme EDT An incredibly close and comfortable shave again this morning - no doubt about it, the Rapiras do the trick for me better than any other blades. This Bozzano Sensitive cream from Brazil has a nice scent which reminds me of Noxzema, and it also delivers a great cooling effect. The Visal gel is one of the coldest things I've ever experienced, and the Penguin doesn't need any more mentioning!

aTuesday: Cetaphil Face Bar Shave Secret Oil Williams Mug Soap Aqua Velva Ice Blue Afta Fresh Captain's Choice Bay Rum VDH Deluxe Boar Shumate 5/8 It's been a long, long time since I've used the VDH brush, and today reminded me why I don't use it. Servicable but it just won't produce the kind of lather that an Omega can. Tried Captain's Choice for the first time and it was love at first smell. One of the finest Bay Rum's to be had.

SOTD Tuesday 4-16-2013 Cadet SB TP-26 Super Max Titanium blade Proraso PSC Williams SS in Hull Pottery OS Mug GT G4 Scuttle Omega Pro Boar Thayer's Witch Hazel Nivea Replenishing ASB Old Spice Classic Cologne A great shave with the Super Max Ti blade loaded into the Cadet this morning. The Williams SS may be an old school product but it delivers an excellent shaving lather. I tend to prefer shave creams over the soaps now of days but, the soaps have their own mystique. My only compalaint is they are harder to rinse out of the brush at end of shave cleanup.
