  7. Thursday

    CeraVe face wash
    Queen Charlotte unscented soap
    Mühle hjm synthetic brush
Schick Krona with Personna lab blade
    CeraVe lotion

I just got the Schick Krona off eBay, cleaned it up with tub and tile cleaner, and I was eager to give it a test drive. First couple of strokes went well enough, but then I flipped it over to use the other edge. Yow! Aggressive, harsh, rough! I rinsed it off and looked closely. Sure enough, the gap on one side was much bigger than the other. I finished with just the mild side, did 3 passes and got a shave that was OK, not great.

I'll fuss with the razor sometime to try to get the gap fixed back where it should be.
    :(
  8. My first one of these!

  9. Friday afternoon. My first May Shave this month. After 3 no shave days it was time.

Double up on shower time for prep. Matas Face Wash.
Haslinger's Ewe Milk wipped up with Semogue 1520 in my IKEA bamboo bowl.
Mūhle R89 loaded with a fresh Shark SS.
3 passes, the traditional. Tried to follow my evil wiskers to the best.
Cold water rinse, alum block, finished of with cold water again.
Nivea Sensitive asb followed by Nivea Sensitive face cream.

I had one nick on my chin but else a pretty DFS with little sting from the alum. Felt pretty darn good :)

First shave with the Erasmic stick. Hm. Not stellar yet. I'm not apalled by the scent. It's not bad, but not nice either. Luckily it dissipates quickly. The lather wasn't great either. I'll give it another go tomorrow morning. I guess it just takes some time getting used to it. :)

    Have a great weekend ya'll!

After a brutal technique defining neck shave last night I turned to the old faithful loving embrace of my friend and yours Tabac!

Face wash Nubian Heritage Frank and Murrrrr Bar
    Tabac Soap
    Gillette Tech (Fat Handle)
    Wilki Sword
    Warm Rinse
    Cold Rinse
    WH Spray
Osage Rub ( What else would I use when my neck feels like I shaved with sandpaper lastnight?)
    RSC PS Balm

I'm telling you, that Tabac is made from fairy spit or something. It's a magical soap for me. That's why it's my go to "after brutal shave" soap! And I just got my Osage in today and had to use it. That stuff is magic too. My neck feels awesome and I got a really nice close shave
  19. I'm restoring that same handle. How do you like that knot?

Prep: Hot water splash, TSD ISZ PSB, hand strop blade
    Razor: 46 crat
    Blade: Supermax Titanium
    Soap: TSD Lanolin Iced Barbershoppe
    Brush: AOS pure badger
    Shave: 3 passes
Post: Cold water splash, Thayer's Rose Witch Hazel, iced Nivea Sensitive ASB

this same setup has been working great but for whatever reason i have been getting irritation on the neck and the shave doesn't seem as smooth. I have no idea why. :(
