Tuesday: #6 Horsehair Super Speed/Rapira day 2 Gillette Menthol SC Anherb AS Conditioner Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS YSL Pour Homme EDT Another great BBS shave with a fabulous DE/blade combination - this 1950s Super Speed is mild, but it performs so well. The Rapiras are my favorite of all blades because they're very sharp and smooth. The Gillette Menthol cream from Europe smells nice, lathers rich and thick, and is as cooling as Proraso Green. The Anherb/Aqua Velva combination is a terrific way to cool and soothe your face afterwards.

5/8 Bema Castle Forbes Lime 28mm WSP knot Very nice shave this morning. It's possible, over time, my opinion may change but I really don't get it when it comes to Castle Forbes. It's O.K. but it'd be down my list of favorites quite a way. Very good lather, o.k. scent, decent skin care. I guess it's a YMMV deal and my mileage varies a bit. Have a good one.

This Gillette aftershave is awesome I think. It smells just like the balm, and other Gillette products. And there are only 4 or 5 ingredients. I can do with out all the di-methyl and tri-ethy l this and that. Have a nice day!

I'm glad I did as todays 2 pass shave yielded a very nice DFS, unlike my 3 pass expieriment the other day. I have a second ingrown now from that moment of stupidity.

SOTD Tuesday 5-7-2013 Merkur 11C HD w/Voskhod Teflon Proraso PSC Proraso SC GT G4 Scuttle Omega Boar Thayer's Witch Hazel Nivea Replenishing ASB Mennen Original Skin Bracer Not sure if the Merkur 11C can be considered "vintage" but, it is out of production and NLA (no longer available). At any rate, it is a great shaving razor and gets the job done very comfortably. The Mennen Skin Bracer is a "vintage" ASL that has been around for a century. It was one of my Dad's favorites and is one of mine as well.
