I'll be starting the week off with an intensely-cooling set-up. The Axe Chilled wash really is just mildly cooling, but everything else like the Gada Cool Mint cream, the Diana balsam, and The Penguin are unbelieveably frigid. This is a set-up which I don't recommend for anyone who is sensitive to strong menthol - it could be painful and it also tends to make the eyes watery.

First shave with the newly replated Gillette Slim. Nice razor but the wings of the blade stick out a bit too much! The combination of the Frank's Best brush and the Tabac made it difficult to produce a really good lather. Not sure why. I love the Baxter ASG and I would say it easily earns a 5-star rating. The Alt Innsbruck is great as well and the scent can last all day.

Excellent shive! Oi loikes this rizer a lo'! It never disappoints. The sawpe is gryte as well and mikes a grite lather! The brush is owlwise noice to use as well.

The blade felt a bit rough. Hopefully it will smooth out as the week goes. Still darn near BBS.

*For those who may not know, there was a time Gillette dated their blades in the same manner as their razors. This blade is coded J4 - making it fourth quarter of 1964.
