Wow, thanks for that! I added inline with pic, but tiki is whitewood pine and the other is American Chestnut. (I've been pondering what to whittle for my third TGN knot. Right now, I'm hovering over a bulldog head. I'm waiting for inspiration to help me land. It may take awhile... )

Have not decided how to finish: clear coat, stain + clear coat, or paint then clear coat. whittled from basswood knot is TGN 24mm synthetic NOTE: I had already made a critical cut defining the mustache and THEN remembered that swarden's curls up at the ends! Alas...

Thanks! It was modeled after a Queen chess piece. This one was turned in Bubinga. Unfortunately I haven't turned anything in a while due to time constraints, but I always enjoy it when I have a chance.
