Saturday: NXT Facial Wash #6 Horsehair Super Speed/7 AM day 6 Comme il Faut SC Svoboda AS Balsam Old Spice AS Old Spice Cologne A nice, close, and very smooth shave this morning in spite of the 7 AM blade being at the end of the road. The Comme il Faut cream is the only one from Russia which I really don't like because although it lathers very easily and rich, it has a lousy scent which is very strong, and no skincare. The only reason I'm using it is because it was sent to me by someone here in this group. The Svoboda balsam which is from the same company is what saved the day for me - it's so cooling and comfortable.
Saturday Merkur 37C (Slant) Astra SP (d2) Rooney Stubby 2XL Palmolive stick/TSD Bourbon Vanilla SuperLather-Face Lather Witch Hazel Dominica Bay Rum Have not used the Rooney for a while, probably because its knot dia/density are so substantial it just takes a little more effort and time to get it going than I care to spend most mornings. I have learned that this Rooney is not meant to be rushed. Today I gave the Rooney its needed time and was rewarded in spades. My face was so well prep'd a butter knife could have shaved the whiskers. I will be faceterbating today.
5/8 Puma SRD Sweet Patchouli 22mm Omega knot I don't know why I like this scent but I do. This morning I used SRD Sweet Patchouli and a half a squirt of Kiss My Face Peaceful Patchouli and had a great shave. Very close and smooth. I'm debating if I should head to the shop or drive a 100 miles and hit a few antique stores, might even find a straight razor.......................
Saturday Omega 49 Proraso Green Tub EJ89dl Sharp Durablade (2) 3-pass shave Masters Bay Rum aftershave Great shave, the Proraso made a fantastic lather. The Sharp blade isn't a great performer in the EJ89dl, but it's OK. I think I'll quit using it in this razor though. Now it's time to think about what I'm going to pick for Desert Island Week. I think I'll go with my super adjustable, but I haven't decided on the blade, cream, brush or aftershave.

SOTD Saturday 5-25-2013 Edwin Jagger DE87811 w/Crystal No Proraso PSC this morning (I'm running low) Musgo Real SC GT G4 Scuttle Omega Boar Thayer's Witch Hazel Nivea Replenishing ASB Mennen Original Skin Bracer First shave with this razor. (thanks Obie) The Muhle/EJ heads are really outstanding for their smoothness and shaving performance. Most of us have one or more of these fine razors in the various handle configurations. This allows some variety to the "look" of the shave with the assurance of the great performance these heads provide. The octagon handle has a secure feel and the balance of these handles are a little more toward the head. This mornings shave is a great way to start the weekend. Thanks for sharing your shaves with us Gentlemen; enjoy your weekend!
Saturday morning, May 25, 2013 Schick E2 Injector with Schick blade (4) Semogue 1250 boar bristle brush, Arko shaving soap with hot water lather, finish with cold water rinse for a DFS!
Wow, who slept in until quarter after ten?? This guyyyy!!!! Can't remember the last time. Anyway. Great shave today, I'm loving this brush. This Omega soap is wonderful. I suggest it to you tub Prorasso users. And clubman? Always nice. And its time to admit it, I have a problem. Hello, my name is Richard and I'm addicted to brushes, soaps, crèmes, balms, and splashes. Anyone know where a fella could get some help!?
Saturday morning: Project SuperTech 7:00 yellow FKD&G travel brush Proraso white Razorock Don Marco Vitos Colonia Tabacco This is only the second time I've used Don Marco. I used it once a while back when I first got it, but didn't like it. Today, however, it was awesome. I think its going to be a favourite. It's kind of like an orange-scented Cella. The Vitos stings like a bastard no matter how good the shave (because of the atomizer, I think - not enough time for the alcohol to evaporate), but it smells awesome and has a cooling effect that I'm still enjoying over an hour later.

Saturday, May 25, 2013 EJ Pure, TOBS Grapefruit, Bolzano (1), Superadjustable (2 on 2), Pinaud's Bay Rum It was my first time using a Bolzano, and only good things to report. Very sharp but no burn or irritation. The TOBS lathered up beautifully today, and my daughter even got in on the fun, smearing lather all over her face before I realized what she was doing. Good times.
