I love my Proraso green aftershave. But I have decided to give it up. Why? I have found a place to make me custom aftershave probably very similar to Proraso green for less money and it supports a very worthy cause. I've been wanting to try TSD AS for awhile now. I'm about to run out of my Proraso green...time to belly up! Has anyone tried that coconut lime verbana? I LOVE the soap from Mystic Water, but only got a sample. I think I might splurge on some coconut lime verbana soap and AS from TSD as well. Any feedback would be appreciated.
I can't speak about Coconut Lime Verbena, but I can tell you that the straight lime a/s smells exactly like a lime. Go cut a slice of lime and shove it up your nose and that is exactly what TSD Lime smells like. It is great stuff.
Well I've been waiting and the day arrived today. My much anticipated order from TSD shop! As far as the aftershave is concerned it is a close approximation to Proraso Green. There are differences. Proraso Green doesn't smell as much like Eucalyptus and the Proraso Green has a slightly "Sweet" smell to it. There is less Eucalyptus oil in the Proraso so when the TSD Aftershave dries it has a nice moisturizing effect; not found in Proraso Green. The menthol effect is about the same; I chose 1x menthol when ordering from TSD shop. All in all I am very pleased and it is going to be easy to give up my Proraso Green aftershave. Bonus! I also have the matching TSD Eucalyptus cologne! Here's a shot of my haul. Oh and I almost forgot Proraso Green costs more and you get less quantity.
Finally got around to ordering. Great, refreshing aftershave. I got the extra menthol added too...oh yeah. Highly recommended!
