The L'Oreal face wash is not the coldest thing, but it's colder than the Axe Chilled, and the ISZ soap is the "mother of all face-freezing soaps." The combination of the Diana Sport balsam and the Rubby Dubby Doo is so powerfully-frigid that a lot of guys I know cannot handle it.

Bigelow Brush: Frank's Synthetic DE: Stahly Blade: Astra SP, day 1, 3 passes Post: Cold water rinse, ice water splash, Osage Rub, Curve, hand strop blade 'Stache Wax: Steve's Own As it is Novelty Week, I loaded up the Stahly (a novelty razor, in my opinion) with a fresh blade, wound 'er up, and commenced to shaving. Can't say that the vibrating really adds anything to the shave; this razor gives a fantastic shave even when I swap out the handle (too big and bulky for me) with a Fat Handle Tech. I do like the head of this razor. The ends extend out and cover the ends of the blade, thus preventing any blood loss via a clipped ear lobe.
6/8 Ern Xpec SC 22mm TGN Finest Fan Krampert's Bay Rum Nice shave this morning. The edge on the Ern is dialed in nicely, smooth and close shave. Have a good one.

2 shaves using my newly acquired razor and brush set from Sport Shaving. A beautiful pair. I absolutely love the Gillette Old and the restored brush is very nice also. The restored "Strong Set" is my first proper synthetic brush. It certainly feels very different. Soft yet stiff. Doesn't hold the lather and water like my badgers and boars do. Dries super fast.
