This is another one of my favorite shaves because I get to use freezing-cold stuff for: Menthol Monday: L'Oreal Men Expert Facial Wash #6 Horsehair Super Speed/new 7 AM Iced Subzero SS Diana Sport Menthol Balsam Osage Rub AS Givenchy Gentleman EDT It gives me so much pleasure to use a set-up like this because I'm such a menthol freak, and proud of it. The L'Oreal face wash is not the coldest thing, but it's colder than the Axe Chilled, and the ISZ soap is the "mother of all face-freezing soaps." The combination of the Diana Sport balsam and the Rubby Dubby Doo is so powerfully-frigid that a lot of guys I know cannot handle it.

Monday Prep: Hot shower, AoS PSO, hand strop blade Coffee: Maxwell House French Roast, BLACK CD: Victory in Heaven Blues Band ~ VIH II Cream: C. O. Bigelow Brush: Frank's Synthetic DE: Stahly Blade: Astra SP, day 1, 3 passes Post: Cold water rinse, ice water splash, Osage Rub, Curve, hand strop blade 'Stache Wax: Steve's Own As it is Novelty Week, I loaded up the Stahly (a novelty razor, in my opinion) with a fresh blade, wound 'er up, and commenced to shaving. Can't say that the vibrating really adds anything to the shave; this razor gives a fantastic shave even when I swap out the handle (too big and bulky for me) with a Fat Handle Tech. I do like the head of this razor. The ends extend out and cover the ends of the blade, thus preventing any blood loss via a clipped ear lobe.

2 shaves using my newly acquired razor and brush set from Sport Shaving. A beautiful pair. I absolutely love the Gillette Old and the restored brush is very nice also. The restored "Strong Set" is my first proper synthetic brush. It certainly feels very different. Soft yet stiff. Doesn't hold the lather and water like my badgers and boars do. Dries super fast. PRE: TSD ISZ PSB + MR GLO Soap BRUSH: Omega 636 CREAM: Ingram RAZOR: Merkur 38C BLADE: Astra SP POST: Alum + Osage Rub Well...Got home late last night and had class at 7:00AM so decided to shave after I got home from class. Little (4) mile run, then a nice face freezing shave! For novelty week I have decided to just try out face lathering. I know its not some sort of novelty or strange implement used for shaving purposes, but being that I today was my first ever face lather, it is a novelty to me. Have a great week all!
