5/8 Hackett Diamond Klar Klassic 22mm TGN Finest Fan Krampert's Bay Rum This is probably my favorite razor. It's an American hardware company straight that's probably made in Germany though it's not marked. I finished the edge on a Celebrated Razor Hone (a German natural stone) and had a very smooth comfortable shave this morning. Actually, it's was about as good as a shave can get. Have a good one.
Been a little busy lately, so I haven't had time for pics. I did want to mention that I am on day 3 with a Polsilver SI and it shows no sign of fading. Great blade! Usually, I am ready to toss any blade after 3 shaves. The tugging starts, razor burn, etc. Not this time. The usual suspects Fatboy Omega 48 Proraso green Alum block Thayer's witch hazel Nivea ASB Aqua Velva musk What changed: Polsilver Super Iridium Smoooooooooth shave!

Shavette loaded with a Bolzano blade (2) Niveta nr.7 little piggy Palmolive soap (the big green container ) paired with Sir Irisch Moos SC and 2 drops of peppermint oil Pitralon classic I finished work early today (first time in months) and decided to treat myself to a long hot shower and a slow and steady shave just for relaxation. And it worked like a charm. The Palmolive/Moos combo is great and refreshing and the peppermint oil just gives it a bit of a cool. A splash of Pitralon Classic just added to the cooling sensation Have a nice day boys and gals

Post: Pinaud Clubman & Pre de Provence balm Very impressed by this old New razor! My first open-comb type, it really felt good in my hand and, more importantly, on my face! Lighter than most of my other razors, it cut cleanly & moved smoothly. Nice. No nicks, weepers, nor irritation. Not bad for a first-go with an 80-year old resurrected razor. The combo of the slick Lucky tiger & pre-shave oil, with the luxurious lather I'm certain helped ensure a good shave. I may stick with razor a while...
