Hey everyone, a friend of mine was asking where to buy feathers bulk. I don't use feathers so I thought I'd ask the group. Looking for a good deal and a reliable seller.

Just from looking around, the big retailers will charge you close to $50 for 100 blades.
Found 100 for $30 on amazon and I found an eBay seller 100 blades for $20.

What do you guys suggest I suggest. :D

I got mine from Amazon. They come from Thailand so expect a long wait (4 weeks or so). But they are the real deal at a good price too.

Edit: Mine were from thai4you and the ebay prices if found did not include shipping. The amazon price does. So the costs are about the same $30/100 delivered.

A 100 Feathers for only $20??? What were the shipping costs?? Do you know if the seller is reputable??

I just went to ebay and looked I'd stay away from the 100 for 20 as its not that great a deal. The total cost plus shipping is $28.98($19.99+$8.99 S&H) and the seller(Thailamps) doesn't have that good a rating score if you read his negs...Plus if you want to return them for any reason you lose your $8.99 + return shipping (at least a third your total cost).
Amazon has free shipping and for the $2.23 cost difference I'd feel safer going with amazon..Although I would check the sellers(Thaiyong's) return policy.
    Just my 2 cents.......:)

Double edge (previous post) is very reputable. I have used him many times. His prices for Feathers and Simpsons can't be beat. 10 day delivery time

I haven't found any reputable source that beats the $.29-.30 barrier. All those sources are listed here. I am cool with that price since a Feather lasts me a week, and the most I get out of other blades is 3-4 days.

  9. Take a look at Connaught Shaving--on recommendation from another TSD member--I bought a 100-pack there a couple of months ago. Price was very reasonable (just have to convert from British Pounds to US Dollars) and shipping was cheap. Short delivery time, and not from a Pacific Rim retailer of uncertain reliability. There was also some talk of counterfeit blades from PR retailers; not certain, just not going to take the chance. Give 'em a go; I think you'll be pleased!
