My Re-visiting Week continues til tomorrow or Monday and this time it was the now "vintage" Permafrost Blue stick. Man oh man, that soap is soooo cold that it blows Palmolive Menthol and Godrej Menthol Mist out of the water. I'd say it's perhaps one tiny notch below the ISZ soap. The Anherb conditioner with the Rubby Dubby Doo felt bone-chillingly cold.

May need to buy a tub. The Progress was very good. Another favourite! So many razors, so little time.

As close to BBS as I can personally get with the Fusion Power.

Sunny SATURDAY up early & a beautiful day! 1. 4:00am Hot shower; Lucky Tiger Lemon Face wash & hot face cloth 2. Pre-Shave: Floid's PSO— not as viscous as my homemade oil, but still covers nicely 3. Soap: Mike's Natural Orange, Cedar & Black Pepper shave soap — smells good enough to eat! 4. Brush: VDH Boar— second consecutive day; hoping to encourage more 'blooming' (softening) of this stubborn brush! 5. Razor: 1956 Gillette SuperSpeed Red Tip with Astra SP blade 6. Shave: 3 Passes; plus touch-up 7. Post: Cold water rinse; 4711 aftershave splash; Nivea balm to seal the deal Great-smelling 'orange/cedar' lather; thick & 'slippery.' The Red Tip is a bit more aggressive than the New I've been using, but not overly so. Light-wt razor moves quickly & smaller than my other biggies. Nice shave. Only a couple of weepers (operator error attributable to distraction brought on by nosey Great Dane invading my 'private' space.)
Slant Saturday: Merkur slant Gillette Silver Blue (quickly becoming one of my favourites - anyone know a good source?) Semogue 830 Proraso white Adidas Game aftershave The Adidas I picked up for novelty week. It is one grocery store aftershave I've always avoided for some reason. Scent is nice enough, I didn't really like the feel of it on my face. Too many ingredients, I think. In all, I give it a solid meh. , Littlebear is two today and there is much partying to be done.
