The shave today was one of greatest of my life, BBS all over with no feedback from the Alum block. PERFECT!!

Really not digging the Old Spice AS, It reminds me of my childhood because my dad wore it (that is a good thing). When it gets on me for awhile don't like it that much over my over after shaves.

The Big Ben blade on the other hand is awesome! I only had two blades to try. I'm going to have to find 500 or so.

 

I've been meaning to pick some up for the very same reason (nostalgia). Of course if I slap it on & my wife hates it, so much for the trip down memory lane...

 

These "tactical" Fatboys really look great! It makes me wonder if I should start thinking about getting a second one so I can send it out to be refinished. . .

 

ONE thing notably lacking in my shaving arsenal is a good MENTHOL product (actually I have NO menthol) whether for pre-shave, cream or soap, or post. In the heat of summer, I seriously need to look into this. I do have some Proraso eucalyptus/menthol cream on the way.
Need to get some Bay Rum, too.

Hard to find one that needs refinishing at a fair price.

 

I found them to be harsh, too. I was surprised that the first time I used them I was cleaning up for my straight razor (also my first time). The straight razor areas were much smoother than the Injector areas, same with my second time using them. I have some NOS Schick blades; I'm going to give those a try.

Moved the Fatboy up to 8 this morning, got a great shave. I think I'll replace the blade and shave on 8 again tomorrow, if it's a good shave it will be time to try 9.

Very nice shave this morning, smooth and close. The King of the Castle is a good soap/cream. It has a honest lavender EO scent, nothing complex and it lathers well, post shave skin care is very good. Have a good one.

Silky smooooooth shave this early morning, the Fatboy has the be the very best razor ever made. (in my humble opinion)...

The Bath and Body Works shave cream continues to impress, and for 5 bucks on clearance, it was a deal. It pairs very well with the Williams, which I love using for its cushion-y exploding lather.

The wife and I are off to go car shopping today, her car was totaled in an accident 2 weeks ago, she was side-swiped by a moron semi truck driver on the interstate. She's in physical therapy for the next month, her RA has flared up, and she got fired from her job as a maid because she couldn't empty the big cans of trash anymore. Gotta LOVE IT

 

Get some TSD M Bomb for some before, during and after shave menthol coolness.

Here's how I use it:
4-5 drops in my palm along with my shampoo in the shower
3-4 drops in my lather bowl with soap or cream
2-3 drops in my palm along with any aftershave or balm
