Chubby 2, Fatboy, SuperMax Sunrise (1), L'Occitane Cade soap, Pinaud's Bay Rum



It's been a little while since I've used L'Occitane's Cade soap. I've been suspecting that it's not good with my skin, so I had it on the bench for a while, and for no particular reason I decided to try it again this morning. All of the other products I used with it are tried and tested, because I wanted to see how the Cade would change things, and the result is that I should've left it benched. My face feels raw and irritated, and the Pinaud's nearly brought tears to my eyes when I splashed on my usual generous amount. I'm over this soap.

The SE Tour is over so today, so I revisited the Schick E2, but I made sure I had a genuine Schick blade in it. The shave was still aggressive, but not nearly as aggressive as it was with the CVS blade I used before. Great shave.​

An awesome and frigid shave today thanks to the new version of Proraso Green cream. I wish they had reformulated it years ago because it's so good now. My tube of 444 is almost empty so I need to look for some more, but I've still got plenty of the Rubby Dubby Doo.

Harris has never been my favorite soap but always among my favorite soaps. It's always a solid performer and the Windsor is a very nice scent. Very nice smooth shave with good post shave skin care. Have a nice 4th, I hope to get a little shop time. Have a good one.

Moved the Fatboy to 9 and got a great shave

 

I can't seem to get one spot under my nose with any Gem style SE no matter what I try. It feels like I left a little mustache on my face, it cant be seen but I can feel it. I guess hate might be a bit strong of a comment, I just can't seem get that perfect shave with them.
