1. Regardless of performance, heft, etc., which brush to you find to be the most aesthetically pleasing?

For me, I'd take the Simpsons 56 as the one with the most visual appeal.

I reckognize this is a highly subjective and individual concept, without any wrong answers.

  9. Same here. I've been using it for the past few weeks and I'm just not seeing the need to pull the badgers back out. :)

  13. Yeah, I imagine. They ain't giving those suckers away, that is for sure. I bet you can't even tell the difference. Just knowing what they are though.....
  14. I've almost bought a pure ivory one, before reconsidering due to the fact that customs probably will be less than friendly with the package even though all the Plisson brushes are made with Pre-Ban ivory and technically still legal all over North America for purchase. But meh, maybe one day I'll get a spiffy new Plisson in High Mountain White ;) WSP is what is catching my eye now though, in the meantime.
  15. I don't suppose "But, sweetheart, I need a proper Plisson brush to get the most benefit from my Plisson shave soap; you want my face to feel smooth for you, don't you?" gets anywhere at all as an incentive for the Missus?
  16. I've always liked the "Stubby-Chubby" style handles.

  18. As far as handles I've always liked the look of the vintage EverReadys 200's or 250's I think. They have a black rubber top and a swirl bakelite bottom that came in red, blue, green and yellow. I don't own one but I'm on the look out for a nice one to restore.
