I don't use a stand for my regular brushes because they dry just fine using capillary action sitting upright. However, My E Jagger can't stand on end. Inbetween working on another razor, I threw this together when I was cutting wood for the scales to a 10/8 monster shaver.
Well, I thought my string looked tacky and so did my wife, so she found an old fine link gold chain for me. Still looks tacky tied to the towel rack but it looks great if you look at the brush and ignore the towel rack. This is a great looking stand. Should be a market for these if you want the hassle of selling and shipping. Richard
Very nice! Looks like it is built for sitting in the corner, and minimizing dead space on the counter. :1respect
$8,457 + shipping... :rofl It's 1/8 diameter brass. You can get it in any hobby store. Bend a "C" to the size of the brush handle, then solder it to an "L". Drill hole in the desired piece of wood and shazaam! You are there, my friend. Know what would look dandy? A small piece of driftwood looking like the base of a cyprus tree. Whoo hoo! What would you allow on that?
OK. I have a problem. (Well, many, but this one is on point to this thread...:rofl) I just complemented another brush stand and now I see this one I like equally. Our members do amazing work on custom brush stands! :1respect [My problem? Insufficient counter space to buy the stands I want!]
