Yep, it will. Turtle Wax paste is commonly used.

Thanks all. I did buff it up with some Turtle Wax, brought some of the luster back.

You made the painting by simple spray of some professional work ?

    Thanks.
Yes, just a small can of spray paint and a small brush to paint the black stripe.

:ashamed001: Thanks, but I only use it once or twice a month.
I have 17 brushes in my rotation and I'm pretty hard core about sticking to the rotation.

Would a coat of ca work with the paint? I might test this idea,on a scrap piece of plastic of course, just in case.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is "ca"?

Thanks. So how is it used when it comes to putting on a coat of paint? I used a spray can of Testors.

When using epoxy, I use about half of what I think I need. Just before I tell myself to add more(you just get the feeling it is not going to hold) I stop. Worst case scenario, it does not hold---better than to much!!! Clean out and do over. I have had only one come out, so this works for me.

:signs011:,is commonly used on woods for wood turning pens, bowls, custom brush handles and custom scales. I enjoy making my own scales and would like to make my own brush handles soon as I get my hands on a lathe.

Great work. I have a couple old brushes that I would love to re-knot. Just need to work up the courage to do it.
