    Very Nice.

He should have 'borrowed' an open comb to de-beard himself.

Less getting clogged up. The solid guard bar takes more maintenance when shearing longer hair. The open comb holds more and is easier to rinse out.

This is just my opinion of course.

Yep, that's what we talked about (razor types and suitable applications) but after his de-bearding.
My goodwill LONGcomb would've possibly made the job a bit easier.

Same here. My son is five, likes to watch me build lather & shave and already is asking when he will grow "stripes" (his word for beard) so that he can shave! That and he likes to stand by me when I'm watching / admiring my collection. I sure hope he turns out to be a wet shaver and is willing to invest the time required to shepherd my collection till its time for him to pass on the "mantle" to his son :)

Way to go, explanations and teaching help the inquisitiveness we all have. Hopefully this will spread to the other ones. Made me think of Allen last night on Duck Dynasty. The black sheep of the bunch will also have a difficult time making converts of the rest of the family members. Makes me wonder if this may become the next big thing. Most women do not like wooly men!
