So, that was a really nice shave! I prepped my face with a hot moist cloth, a dap of self mixed preshave oil. Today I facelathered Arko Moist cream, I am more of a soap guy, and got a nice lather with a nice scent. I loaded one of my new Viking's Swords into the Gillette Rocket HD. Wow, a nice sharp and smooth blade, for me one of the best blades sofar! The alum stang a little, but the face does feel smooth. Some new very cheap french aftershave balm to treat the face. No real scent, just a good feel. So now I am of to my son's second birthday!

coming home from a trip, only to find an unexpected package from the Netherlands waiting for me. I am the only one from my family to move to canada, so getting these little gift packages makes me pretty giddy! Anyway, inside i found among a letter, candy and a book these little gems. from left to right; alum stick, shaving soap stick and a brush. all are from De Vergulde Hand, or the Gilded hand. The smell hasn't changed, snd broughg back some awesome memories. Well just wanted to share! cheers!
