I'm currently using Skin Bracer Original, love the cooling and toning i get from it. I like the scent too, doesn't linger long which is good for me. I used to use Nivea balm a lot before this but got tired of that greasy feeling i got from it.

Aqua Velva Ice Blue is my favorite. For pretty much all the reasons you said you like SB. I just like the scent of AV better.

Probably gotta go with Floid blue...it has a great, classic, masculine barber shop scent and the mild cooling of menthol. It is actually fairly inexpensive too if you consider it comes in a 400 ml bottle! Alt Innsbruck would be my fave if it weren't so darn expensive!!!

Old Spice. Pinaud Clubman is a close second.

Royall Spyce. Expensive, but fantasic burn followed by a strong tightness in the skin and it lasts a good time. Considering that I shop around and get the largest bottle, and it lasts about a year, I don't mind paying $30 - 35 for it. It's worth it to smell that good!

My wife and I were in New Orleans this past February and stumbled upon one of the Aidan Gill stores/barber shops (which blew me away having just purchased my first DE razor only a few weeks prior). We sniffed everything they had from soaps to creams to aftershaves and colognes and D.R. Harris Sandalwood aftershave kept coming out on top as my favorite. I've purchased lots since then but I keep returning to my first love.
I also learned that a couple hundred dollars worth of shaving soaps, creams, etc. takes care of that nasty airplane cargo smell from your checked baggage.

I have a few. Clubman vanilla, special reserve, original, VIBR, lime sec, and of course original.
After every shave, my dilemma is trying to pick the after shave of the day.

I have a whole slew of aftershaves on the counter, but right now my favorite is bouncing between RazoRock Problem Solver Lime, and Old Spice. The Problem Solver I like because it makes my face feel great. To be honest, the only other aftershave that makes my face feel this good is Captain's Choice Bay Rum, but I unfortunately it gives me a headache every time I use it. Old Spice simply because I find the scent to be very comforting, and I love it. For Menthol Monday though, I use Ice Blue Aqua Velva.

For me thats a funny question...Two years ago, before I took up "traditional" shaving, the only aftershave I had was Old Spice "White Water" that I'd use maybe 2 or 3 times a year more as a cologne. The bottle must be over 10 years old now(it's actually made of glass).. In the last two years, I have aquired 21 different AfterShave's!!:happy097: The only thing keeping me somewhat in check is I'm "CHEAP"!! As I shave daily, I try to use a different AS everyday, but I find myself drawn mostly to the "old school" scents (AV,Skin Bracer,Old Spice,Florida Water, most Clubmans including on occasion the Veg. and various Bay Rums) probably because I'm old... I always start with Nivea Post Shave Balm as I find it very soothing on my freshly shaven face and it doesn't leave my face feeling oily, followed by the aftershave of the day...:)

I will have to say TSD's very own "yin yang" after shave milk. Wonderful scent (lavender and lime I believe). It doesn't leave me feeling dry, and doesn't have that alcohol sting. If you haven't tried it yet get a sample from theTSD shop. I want the recipe to make it myself, but then that wouldn't support our forum :(

OLD Spice Classique Cologne because its the best!! No YMMV about if you don't agree you're WRONG!!

ha,ha...just kidding....wanted to see if you were paying attention....actually the YMMV factor is very high when it comes to After Shave...Even I have trouble deciding what I want to wear sometimes...:) But OS is my default most of the time....

That's not necessarily true. You might be able to get the recipe and support the forum.

All it'll cost you is..................one hundred billion dollars! :signs136:

Gillette Cool Wave. Inexpensive, available everywhere, manly long lasting scent, feels good on the skin, and has only something like five ingredients.

I either reach for Krampert's Frostbite, Captain's Choice Lime, Clubman, Floid Blue, Mysrol Blue, or Barbon. I can't decide which is my favorite. They all work wonders for my face and make it feel so much better.

:signs011: Except that my wife like Pinaud Clubman better. Therefore, I usually wear Pinaud Clubman. ;)
