    Ok, so I've been thinking a "this day in history" thread would be kinda cool for various reasons.

    Events can be personal, news-worthy, whatever.

    Like, November 19, 1863 Lincoln delivered the Gettysburg Address. Now I'm pretty sure no one was there for the event. (Right, Fergie? :rofl ) But if you had thoughts or memories to share concerning said event, then you could share them.

    I just thought it could be interesting.

    Anyone got anything?
