Great shave. The Arko was grated into an Old Spice shave mug and made an excellent lather. It's a fantastic, dirt cheap soap.

Little hesitant to load the Lord Super Stainless for a 5 shave test since I didn't have a great shave the first time I used one and today wasn't much different. A slight burn and a couple of weepers in my trouble spots. Couldn't smell the Musgo for some reason but the wife said she smelled it from about 10 feet away.​

A week of good shaves, this morning was nice, comfortable and close. Have a good one. I've been missing my synthetic brush so I ordered another Muhle, black fiber this time. I should have stuck with the STF, great knot IMO but I've wanted to try the black fiber for quite a while.

For those who aren't familiar with the Tweex stick, it's also from Turkey and it's very familiar to the famous Arko stick. The scent seems to be a bit stronger but it has great lather. The skincare is fairly good also, but I'd say the Arko stick is better in that area. The Polar Ice aftershave is one of my top favourites. Another fabulous shave.

No time to write much about the shave. Haven't used the Proraso White in a while. Nice clean scent that pairs very nice with the citrus and aqua notes of the Cool Wave.

The Perma-Sharp was a nice pairing with the Shavecraft.

I didn't realize this was the fourth use of this blade...
Best lather to date this morning. I used more cream then normal and was able to get a good volume of extra lather on the brush, enough for all three passes in fact.
So I went back to three passes, and was thinking about WTG, XTG, ATG but had some mild irritation after the XTG so decided to play it safe and go back to WTG.
Ended up with a DFS if I do say so myself

A morning shave today with the Col. Conk Lime soap was very refreshing. It was also the maiden shave with my new Gillette Slim Adjustable set on 6 for starts. I did two passes for a clean comfortable near BBS shave. This was shave 17 with the Shark Super Chrome blade, and it did outlast the partial federal shutdown, thank God. I hand-stropped it and put it aside for one more shave, then I think I will retire it. Finished off with Dickinson's WH and some Aqua Velva Ice Blue.​

My last shave for the next 5 days as I escape to the Sierra mountains for some R&R.

I used a combo cream & soap for the lather. Result was an incredibly smooth & slick lather and shave. BBS once again with the Futur.
Such a easy, user-friendly razor that has exceeded my expectations for closeness and comfort. Next shave: Tuesday morn.....sigh

Picked up this razor at a yard sale for $3. bucks 3 or 4 years ago. If was laying in a tool box and was greasy and grubby with dirt with some rust. The point was damaged and required a modification from a spike point to a semi round point. It cleaned up pretty well with some sanding on the scales and metal polish on the blade. After some re-setting of the bevel and a good finish honing, it is an excellent shaver. I have taken it a number of times on my trips without worries that if it's lost I will not be out that much. At any rate, the shave this morning was excellent and the Lime sec EDC was a very refreshing finish.

Today tried Jobonman for the first time and would have to say this soap measured up to all the hype. Lather exploded off the brush using my scuttle, wonderful aroma from Mountain scent, blade glided over my face and my skin was smooth as silk. Only required two passes today using Merkur Futur, Medical Personna and Jobonman.
