I'll show you guys some nice photos but I want you to show me some also! Menthol Monday: L'Oreal Men Expert Facial Wash #6 Horsehair Super Speed/new Shark TSD Iced Subzero SS Diana Sport Menthol Balsam Osage Rub AS Aramis Stick Deodorant Aramis EdT I have a Stirling Glacial soap on the way but until I receive it, as far as I'm concerned JoAnna's famous Iced Subzero soap is the coldest I've ever used. It also has magnificent lather with perfect skincare and a nice frigid scent. No balm can match this Austrian-made Diana Sport stuff, and you can't get too much colder than the Rubby Dubby Doo.

Barbasol Razor 7OC Yellow Chubbz 2 (Omega 23x54) Arko SS Alum Superior 70 I had a decent shave this morning, but am not a fan of the 7oc yellow.
Prep: warm face wash with Shea Moisture African Black soap, Proraso Green Crema pre Barba Soap: Tabac Brush: HIS Synthetic Razor: Maggard MR10 Blade: Feather (1) Post: alum block, Shea Moisture AS Elixir, Proraso Green Crema pre Barba DFS with a couple weepers. I decided to use a feather today because I had two days stubble and I thought I could get a closer shave with fewer passes than with my Gillette 7OC yellow. I was mistaken. It was still three passes and touch up, only less forgiving and rougher. My face feels tight and smooth, but a little irritated, too. The yellow performs better for me at this stage of my technique.
Menthol Monday: Prep: Hot shower, Neutrogena Deep Clean Gentle Scrub, Crown Shaving Co. Supreme Glide Preshave Lotion Brush: Beeline Boar Soap: Ginger's Garden Grapefruit Mint Glycerin-in-a-jar Razor: Merkur 41c 1904 OC Blade: Bic Chrome Platinum (5) Passes: WTG, XTG, ATG (10, 11, 12) Post: Cold water splash, Dickinson's WH, Lucky Tiger Menthol Vanishing ASB Cologne: Xeryus, by Givenchy Another beautifully BBS shave thanks to a combination of some of my best tools. The Neutrogena Deep Clean always seems to make the baby come easier, and even on day 5 the Bic still held up very well, though a couple of red spots showing up by the 3rd pass tell me it's time to switch to fresh blade. The Grapefruit Mint isn't especially frosty, but the Lucky Tiger freezes my neck and cheeks pretty well, considering the small amount used and the ritual I have to use of wiping away excess.

6/8 Gong (Ern) Stirling Ben Franklin homemade brush Razor #2 from this weekend as found. Low mileage as far as previous honing. I'll do a little restoration on this eventually. Sharpened on natural stones and finished on a "Celebrated Razor (Water) Hone". Very nice shave, very comfortable. This is probably my favorite style of blade, hollow ground, barbers notch. Have a good one.
Monday Prep: Hot Shower-Stirling Spice Bath Soap Soap: Old Spice Cream Razor: ’66 Gillette Slim “6” Blade: Israeli Red Personna (UK Packaging)-(4) Brush: Omega 6192 Pure Badger Aftershave: Shulton Old Spice WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angle for my beard a bit) 4th shave with the Israeli Red Personna in the Slim. I pulled out the Old Spice Original Cream today. I got a good close, nick & burn free shave. The Red Personna gave me 4 great shaves. It is not as smooth as some of the others, but there was no tugging. I finished up some authentic Shulton Old Spice I received in a recent PIF. Bob

MONDAY Pre: Hot shower, Shea Moisture Face Scrub, Homemade Cedar PSC Razor: Mühle R41 Grande (2011) Blade: Feather Stainless Brush: Semogue SOC Lather: Mitchells Wool Fat Shave: Two passes (WTG, XTG), plus touch-up Post: Cold water rinse, Alum Block, Black River Bay Rum & Shea cream Slow & steady shave this morning, being extra careful with this razor. My right hand simply isn't as steady as my dominant left, so shaving the opposite side of my face is challenging. Satisfactorily smooth results, and I opted NOT to chase the baby today!
