I ordered some of this stuff when I bought some shaving cream samples. It is great! I was using some Clubman, but something in that, whether the alcohol or the scent, was kind of annoying me throughout the day, and I think it was irritating my eyes. I have always been sensitive to cologne, etc.

Anyway, this stuff is amazing. It really soothes the skin after a less-than-perfect shave, and the scent is very nice, but also very mild. I went with the "Mojito" scent, which is a wonderful mix of citrus and mint. I thought I might enjoy that, and it has lived up to that expectation. Very, very satisfied with this purchase.

  3. I've been looking into the AS milk as my face can dry out very quickly. Is the AS milk soothing and moisturizing? Also I'm a fan of the face freeze, for anyone who's used it would you recommend the sub zero or another scent with the M-Bomb?

    Thanks

The AS Milk in Subzero is awesome. Highly recommend! Yes, it is quite moisturing, with results not unlike a balm. Get some!

  5. Alright I'm convinced! I guess I'll be placing an order soon!

I like the aftershave milk. The signature scent is very good and lasts for a little while. My face feels well cared for.

I too enjoy the Milk. I have to admit that I seldom use it, but that is not the fault of the milk.
I have to do something abut that. It is too good to be left unused.

    ^^^My thoughts, exactly^^^

(Although I haven't tried any Sub Zero product that I don't love, HUGE fan of menthol)

My only regret is not buying the bigger bottle.

The M-bomb in anything is amazing! I use it with my WitchHazel, aftershave, soap or sometimes with my preshave. If you want a face freeze that's the way to go!

I finally ordered the aftershave milk with x2 menthol along with Iced SubZero shaving cream. I'd say that the aftershave milk may be the best shaving product that I've ever tried. That is how much I like it.
I did get the M Bomb also, but haven't used it yet.

I think that if this was being sold on a bigger wet-shaving product site, it would sell like hotcakes.

I picked up the Lemon milk from TSD. Great stuff! I'm a sucker for things that smell like lemons.

The Shave Den Signature Scent Aftershave Milk Review

I feel like I need to write this review because this artisan doesn't get enough press outside the shaving forum that bears it's name. This aftershave is the real deal. I like the short list of easily pronounceable ingredients:

Hydrosol Blend (Rose, Hibiscus, Jasmine), Jojoba Oil, Water, Witch Hazel, Shea Butter, Lecithin, Allantoin, Vitamin E, Glycerin, Aloe Vera, Potassium Sorbate, Ascorbic Acid, Citric Acid

I was particularly attracted to the Shea butter and jojoba oil, since I've had great results with those in my journey into wet shaving already. The artisan offers an astonishing level of customization, allowing your choice of over a dozen scents and blends, with or without added menthol. The scent I chose was TSD Signature - a blend of bergamot and bay rum, and it is one of my favorites. Bergamot adds a warm citrus and depth to the scent. I am almost out of it, so the hard part will be which scent to choose next time, or to just stay with what I know I like. The scent last as long as most other aftershaves... A few minutes strong, then a few whiffs here and there for the next few hours.

This is a milk, and that is an apt description of the consistency. It looks and acts like a splash, but with much better skincare. It absorbs quickly and does not feel greasy going on or upon dry down. The bottle comes with a flow limiter that helps me not use too much at a time. Not much is needed, so the $15 price is a good value.

Overall, I would recommend this aftershave without reservation. The custom scent choices means that if you end up not liking the scent, it's mostly your fault. :) I think everyone would love the skin care. It plays well with my mild rosacea, and leaves my skin feeling great all day.

Packaging: 9/10 for the clear glass bottle with flow control dispenser
Scent: 10/10 - excellent scent - bergamot and bay rum
Skincare: 9/10 - witch hazel and Shea oil among other face friendly ingredients

Just got this myself last week, and I love everything about it - great smell, my face feels SO good after using it, and there is no oily feel at all. I for the Signature scent as well with menthol - nice slight freeze along with everything else. Don't hesitate to try this in whatever scent works for you.

Does the menthol augment the overall scent when compared to without?

I've been using the Lemon Milk for about 7 months or so. I think its great! It really does last along time so the value is exceptional and the smell, well its very nice. I love the smell of lemons when I shave. In fact, I'm going to flip to the store and order some for gifts.

sorry Kevin, I was searching for a thread about Lucky Tiger, and caught myself contributing to the TSD milk statements, as someone once said he really liked TSD Milk, as you do.
