Just happened to check ItalianBarber this morning, his new formula (Tallow based) XXX is NOW BACK IN STOCK! I was going to order some but then again I saw some pics Joe posted that had Semogue Caravelas and am just praying those get listed soon and I can make one order to rule them all... Incidentally he has a whole plethora of Russian blades (Rapira, Voskhod, Lada) for those interested as well; I may have to give some of those a whirl in my Aristocrat since I love my Voskhods.
I did notice he's stocking the whole Rapira line. It looks like ABCBA is in too, but only limited quantities.
Yeah I have that in my wishlist, but I am stubborn and refuse to order until I see a Caravela show up LOL. I expect the ABCBA to be gone by then
Don't worry justin! I ordered some of the ABCBA. I expect it to come this week and if you want I could split it. I'll never use it all. I also have the XXX coming in too!
I may have to take you up on that. Let me know how they are! I was royally unhappy when I missed XXX since it was an affordable butt-kicker of AdP; having it back gives me the chance to attack it full force!

I wasn't gonna do it...wasn't gonna...somehow I ordered a brick of ABCBA! Joe stated that he'd consider ordering another batch of ABCBA if there was enough demand. I like this stuff so much that I couldn't help myself. I consider it to be very very close to P160 in terms of smell/performance.
I heard he was contacted around noon about the quantity left, and he said he only had a couple unsold. It went really fast!
From Joe's FB page, it sounds like he still has XXX, but pulled it momentarily so he can catch up with the hundreds of orders. He thinks he may have 15-ish packs of ABCBA left, but won't know until he processes the orders. Keep an eye on his site, strike fast!
Being new to wet shaving, I haven't tried either XXX or ABCBA, but ordered the XXX after seeing the excitement of others on this post, and then was informed via the FB page that ABCBA was in stock and ordered that yesterday as quickly as I could type. Hope I find them as exciting as others here do - though I realize my MMMV.
XXX is IB's "take" <wink wink> on Santa Maria Novella. But, you really can't go wrong with any of the RazoRock/IB soft soaps... they practically lather up just by looking at them and are excellent performers.
XXX was the Acqua Di Parma take from RazoRock (I haven't seen info about the new formula though) RazoRock does have a few options that are very close if not identical to SMN though.
LOL, you must have missed the whole "being new to wet shaving..." part of my post. What you just said about Santa Maria Novella (unless that's a really short novel about Columbus' ship, Santa Maria) is jibberish to me; though the Oracle of Google may provide the answers I seek. LOL
