I was in my local Walgreens today and Axe facial care (wash, shave gel, post-shave, moisturizer) are all on clearance. In addition to the sale prices, a couple of the products are and additional 50% off on a second product. I took this as an excuse to try the Axe post-shave/moisturizer.
I've never smelled the Axe Spray before. If it smells like their shampoo I'd probably like it. The shampoo has a nice scent if you ask me.
Doubt it since they've made such a big line of products. They have even teamed with Shick and rebranded their hydro razors with the Axe name.
I've been using the Axe sensitive moisturizer. To me it smells nice, and subdued. It doesn't smell like a hallway in a Jr. High school. And it works well.
Interesting... I used it this afternoon just as a test. I thought it smelled very "chemical." But, the scent didn't last very long.
I clicked on this thread because I thought there were gonna be axes. You know, like for wood. We don't have walgreens here, I guess I thought it was a hardware store.
Sorry to disappoint. In an attempt at atonement, I'll mention that your fellow Canadian, lradke, got new snow tires.
Correction: new all season radials! . You never know when it will snow here (though I have never personally witnessed it in august, but I've seen it snow in the other 11 months! And yeah...I also thought you meant axe! (Paul Bunyan style) So maybe it's just our redneck blood taking over.
I wish that was mine! But, I'm gonna have to get a wholllleeee lot better and come up with a whole lot more money. One of my occasional teachers let me play his Gibson a while back (don't remember the model) and it sounded sweet. Tho he said that it tended to have intonation problems which was a surprise to me.
Gibsons can be really 'hit or miss' as their consistency leaves much to be desired. The phrase, "Play before you Pay!" is apt when it comes to the Gibsons, particularly the acoustics. When you do eventually find a good one, however, it is usually exceptional.
