Is it just me or do barbers take off more hair than the agreed upon amount?

    Last time that I when to my Ex old Barber I ask for a "dusting".
    Got White Walls. As I dye my hair dark brown, real color is pure white, they were really "White Walls"!!

    Even he commented : looks like a dye job this afternoon!

    It honestly depends on who you go to. (Raised in barber shop lobbies, so I can attest, there are some who take 'creative freedoms' with their customers.) Best suggestion I have is get someone who asks for confirmation and communicate with them. Even if it's off the first time, if you can modify your suggestions based off of that (given it wasn't atrocious), your barber will eventually understand what you want.

    The number one cause of "hair tragedies" is liquor. The second is communication issues between customer and barber.
