I know it's probably a bit dose of 'try until you find what works,' but does anyone have any tips for dealing with knees. I tried going with a smooth stroke over the knee a little less than perpendicular, and nicked myself like crazy. I know part of the problem is getting used to not using pressure, but any other tips I should keep in mind when it comes to awkwardly shaped areas? (As for the rest of it, it took a few runs to get all the hair off, but the lack of irritation is about to make me a convert! ) [Edited to repair my terrible spelling. ]
Do you bend your knees or keep them straight? I'm no expert, but it seems if you bent your knee the skin would be tighter and there would be less chance of a nick..Theres my guess....
Thats what my wife does and she seems to have no issues anymore, just took her some practice since I had given her a fairly weighty razor.
Remember to let the razor do the work. Very, very little pressure. This is about hair reduction and multiple passes so where the awkward areas exist, be gentle and if it takes two or three gentle passes so be it.
Thanks y'all! I was going in unbent, so I'll give that a try next go, along with trying to let the blade do the work. That's probably the hardest part of converting over I've been dealing with.
