Am I Odd?

Okay, that's a loaded question.

I just needed to replace my badger brush after 5 years with one that was fuller. I had forgotten that "new badger smell". I've decided I like the new badger smell. It's like shaving with a wild animal.

Anyone else like the smell of a new badger brush?

 

It doesn't bother me one bit.

 

I wouldn't say I like it, but I can live with it.

 

I don't care for it, but scent preference is an individual thing. So, while you may well be odd, this is not the reason.

 

IMHO, there are only two worse smells in all of creation: wet dog and burning hair. But, that's me.

You're not odd, you are just into the dead badger scent...and since I'm into alum burn I say that's ok

 

Don't like the scent of wet critters at all, not matter what kind.

 

I can't stand the smell...

 

I understand there are support groups now for those problems.

 

Tony, just don't tell us you like to get the brushes wet, throw them on the floor, then roll around on 'em!

I've used my #6 now for so long I don't remember what it smelled like when I first got it....But your not odd, just different......

 

Guess that depends on which end of the wild animal you are shaving with.

 

That smell is a new brush that I would like to smell about once a month

 

It depends on how new............not a big fan of "fresh" badger smell.
