    Overpriced for its condition IMO.

yeah it's kinda nuts what people are selling these for right now. But what I've seen so far, this is on the cheap side for an adjustable in fair condition. The ones in great shape are going for 50-60 bucks and up!

Yeah overpriced. But adjustables tend to be on ebay. I got one here on the classifieds for $15 in better condition. I don't get what the big deal is about them all that changes is the blade gap no different blade exposure. Id rather get just a regular superspeed for cheaper and in better condition.

Patience is the key word here. You can get an adjustable in better condition for that kind of money. Please do not reward sellers that overprice their wares.

And if the blade gap on that SS doesn't work for you, you're out a razor. With an adjustable just change the setting - Presto! New razor, no extra cost.

If you are patient, you can do a lot better in the B/S/T here and elsewhere.

My $18 40's Style Super Speed from this month and my $25 Slim from not too long ago.

Unlike used new razors, vintage razors appreciate. I've never resold a razor I no longer wanted for less (or equal to even) than what I payed for it.

I'd still jump at an adjustable if it can be found for a good price I just think they're overrated.

I'd really like a 40's super speed as well. They too, are overpriced at the moment on the bay.

All DE razors are overpriced on ebay at the moment. Some more than than others. SEs are still well priced though. For me they shave a lot better.

SE is another option I'm contemplating, actually.

Your best bet is to check the BST listings here and on other shaving forums. The guys selling out of those places seem to be more fair and actually know what they're selling. They won't take a Tech and market it as a Fatboy trying to get $60 for it.

IMO way too high for the condition. Be patient and get an nicer one.

When's the last time you bought a razor? That's what the prices are..

Last week. That kind of plate loss is not worth it, and once these eBay sellers see people aren't willing to pay $30+ for a razor thats condition dictates a $15 pricetag then things will start settling down.

Prices on eBay have been ridiculous since about Christmas.

As more people enter the world of traditional wet shaving, the more the prices on vintage hardware will appreciate. They're not going to come down in price I'm afraid.

Somebody once said, "Buy land. They don't make it anymore". I guess the same could be said for the Slim.

That is very good advice. A little patience is the difference between a $20-$30 Slim and an $80 Slim.
