I have oily skin; sometimes in the summer my skin shines it is that oily so when I shower in the morning I lather up with the Musgo and leave on my face while I use a shampoo bar on my hair, then rinse off both. Then I apply either my homemade PSO or the TSD Balm and leave on my face while I lather up my body and rinse off my body. Right now not drying off the PSO oil or balm and applying a pre-shave rinse to wet the whiskers before applying my shave soap works best for me. This routine pretty much allows me a two pass shave and only one 3 pass shave that I can think of since Christmas.
Prep: hot shower, Cremo Face Wash. Brush : Turkish #6 Brush. Razor : Gillette Aluminum Tech. Blade : Personna Lab. Soap : Razorock XXX sample. Post : cold water rinse, Krampert's Frostbite. I have to get some XXX for myself. This stuff is awesome. This is my second shave with the sample, but it probably has a few more shaves in it. Only a tiny bit is needed to create a plentiful lather. As always, it was slick, smelled great, and provided awesome skincare. I've used this Gillette Aluminum Tech for the past couple of weeks. It hasn't let me down and it's vastly underrated. Also, it's not Menthol Monday without some Krampert's Frostbite to finish things off. I applied it 15 minutes ago and my face still feels cool, refreshed, and tingly. Super DFS today.

Stirling soap-spice Muhle R41 (2013) W/weber bulldog Personna blue lab (2) AQUA DI GIO Shaving Soap Semogue 740 Alum Witch hazel Clubman VI bay rum First time using AQUA DI GIO Shaving Soap. This is the soap that the maker compares to MdC. I haven't used MdC so I can't compare. This soap lathered very easy. Very sick and cushiony, plus it smelled very nice. It's definitely a keeper.
Agree with you regarding Prairie Creations DdC in being slick, cushiony and for me post shave is nice and smooth. I have four versions of her DdC and Alpine Snowdrift being my favorite, followed by Ancient Sedona, Barbershop and Dragons Blood. All I have in heavy scent and they smell great. The heavy scent Dragons Blood irritates my face so I have stopped using it but I like the smell and overall shave is great. Like you definitely a keeper. I do have Mdc and DdC is not as good as Mdc overall though close in lather ability, post shave is neck and neck and for me edge for slickness is DdC. I purchased the 10-11 oz jars and at less than half the price of MdC is a bargain buy in my viewpoint. Not everyone likes Ddc but not every soap is someone's cup of tea.

I fell back to my DE's for a couple of days to save some time. It's kinda nice to show them some love every now and then.

I had zero irritation. Not sure if it was due to the DdC? I'll give DdC another test tomorrow. She gave me a couple samples. The dragons blood is very strong.
I think if I had gone with the normal scent in Dragons Blood I would have been fine. If I decide to keep it, will have to combine it with something such as Arko or Lea to see if that reduces the irritation.
