    Hi, Gents. I received a safety razor kit from my son for Christmas. I remember my dad using a safety razor when I was a kid and love the whole ritual of getting the water nice and hot, soaping up the brush and my face.

    I look forward to reading the posts here.

    Welcome to the den! I also remember watching my dad shave with a DE razor. And of course he'd slash a little old spice on me.

    I am finding that it takes about 10 minutes longer than my old shave time to use my DE razor. After about three weeks, I have stopped taking skin off my chin every time I shave. I am starting to feel comfortable with the whole morning ritual.
