There is this danish shop, Med24: http://bit.ly/1e4pqWl I can't see where to switch language on the site, but the item costs $9 and shipping for EU close to $12. That's for the large 23ml. I have the smaller 9ml that is sold out at the moment.
My final haul for January (and probably February, too, once my wife sees the bank statement.) A birth-year Gillette NOS, still in package, and a full box of blades advertising "Mark Twain Shirts."
Thanks !!! Ahhahahhaha...its happened tome yesterday... same thing... my wife asks me why i had used so many times the credit card this month
I finally shaved with the Bulldog this morning. A fairly close shave, but more irritation than other razors I've tried. I'll give it a few more tries. I married an accountant, so I asked for it . . . .
Really? That's high praise indeed. I'm more of a soap guy, but I'll try out the cream sooner than later.
Just received my sample pack of blades from TSD, as well as a sample of Castle Forbes Cedarwood & Sandlewood (my first foray into blades and shave creams I can't purchase locally). What do you mean by a "smile"? I've also seen someone else refer to a "frown." Thanks for helping a newbie.
A "smile" or a "frown" is a curved cutting edge when viewed as in the photos above. On a straight razor, if the center of the cutting edge is lower than the heal and toe of the blade, it is a "smile". If the center of the cutting edge is higher than than the heal and toe of the blade, it is a "frown".
I have not, but I'm sure there are some amateur honers who have gotten a bit carried away with heel grinding on their blades.
Just home from 3 day stay at the hospital. I received Tabac original EdC. A member shared this deal at under $8. Wow! Also, I received 2 shaving sticks from Yeti. Columbian necktie and Yeti Snot. Plus a couple of samples. Can't wait to give all the above a shave. Happy shaving!
I hope you are feeling somewhat better after your stay in hospital, sounds like you have some great stuff to help cheer you up !!☺
