I got a call from a friend over the weekend, they were at a flea market and found a DE razor and wanted to know if I was interested. I now have a Gillette "N1" Slim Twist, and a Gillette ball end tech set with a few Gillette blue blades (one usable) and some Klenzo blades as well. Is it normal for the Gillette name to not be in the diamond logo for the Slim Twist? The tech is stamped "W2", but I can't find any 1051 techs in a similar case. The handle will also not fully tighten down with out excessive force, I'm hoping that will go away with cleaning

My dad picked up this porcelain shave set for me at a local antique store; everything pictured was included. The antique Williams soap won't be going in the mug, so I guess it's time to try a new soap. A few more new additions to the den: VDH Luxury Shave Soap Schick DE Razor Gillette Senator Razor
Loving it so far. No reaction on my face at all, yet a slight pink on the top of my head when I shave my dome. I wouldn't have noticed if my wife didn't say something lol. I can't even call it a reaction really since my face is flawless.
Will do! Trip was surprisingly smooth. Kicked around San Diego a couple of extra days sightseeing. Then flew back home from 70° weather and stepped out into -7° at airport.

Is it a haul? I just made myself a bodybutterish aftershavebalm! I made it with cocosoil, sheabutter, a sip glycerine and a few drops of teatree oil... Will see tomorrow how it performs!
Packaged arrived today from Boca Raton. A new R41 head and Mühle's razor head cover. It is not that I really needed another R41, but the price was so ridiculously low ($16 by mistake, as it turns out) to pass up. The slide-on protective razor head cover will come in handy for travel...
