Sure thing Take your desired amount of alcohol (I used 40-60% grain alcohol), add the menthol crystals and heat the mixture up for a short moment (otherwise the menthol won't combine with the alcohol and not show any effect). Then add some allspice/pimento fruits (or whatever they're called) and let the whole thing soak for 2-3 months or so at a semi-sunny space at the windowsill. Finally add some (~1/8th -1/16th of the amount of alcohol) glycerine to the mix and you're ready to go. Smells like BayRum (Allspice belongs to the same family of plants), cools, soothes and has antiseptic properties :: You can also leave the allspice-"balls" in the mix, you don't have to take them out after the 2-3 months. Alternatively you can also use real bay-leaves, but they're unavailable where I live whereas you can get allspice pretty much everywhere and cheap.

Lot's of lather, good slickness and glide. It has a decent amount of cushion. I was a bit weird today and used Musgo Real ASB as my balm and topped it with Thayer's Lavender Witch Hazel. For some reason, it worked even though it was after I used a Vetiver soap. OK, well, maybe I was asleep when I made the choices. I don't know. I do know, my face smells nice and feels good. The rough patch from yesterday is fine. Another day and all gone. Price you pay for experimenting.
