I was smitten for a time with my single edge 1914 EverReady and my pre-war Fat handle tech...until I discovered the NEW long comb. So smooth and efficient it's given me BBS shaves effortlessly.

Today I mated the New head with my recently acquired Weber SS Classic handle.

And man is it a perfect pairing!

My bear paws and this handle are made for each other. Can't say enough.

My daily driver (just about) is a LC New on a Weber Bulldog.

    Works great for me.

That should be a great shaver for you.

I do the same. I use an English Gillette Long Comb with a custom made large spiral handle. Love it.

Once my R41 head/base plate comes in it might give the NEW a run for its money though.

I have an R41 head that gets used on the Weber Bulldog as well. The R41 seems to give a shave (with the right blade) that is slightly closer with a little irritation. For me the LC New is just about perfect. I get a great shave with no irritation.

    Great looking frankenrazor!
I use an Old Type head on a Maggard MR10 handle as my daily driver.

For the R41 get ready for the step up and plan your first blade wisely!
