People ask sometimes why I do it and it is for the same reason. Photos tend to follow across the web in other (non forum) areas and it allows for context to be maintained!

Stones aren't mine, just the razor. I do have a JNAT with much smaller slurry stones and some coticules.

Not the best shave today. I was rushed and nagged at by my girlfriend.

Prep: hot shower, Cremo Face Wash.
    Brush: Turkish #6.
    Razor: Schick Krona.
    Blade: Personna Med Prep.
    Cream: Barbon.
    Post: Myrsol Metilsol.

I got one nick on my jaw. I was distracted and nagged at by my girlfriend to go to the store. I will get a better shave next time with a new blade.

Another great shave this morning with a wonderful soap which I've neglected for too long. The De Vergulde Hand smells so classy and nice and its lather is so rich and easy to create. The matching balm moisturizes and soothes sensitive skin so well, and the Thayers witch hazel leaves the skin feeling terrific. ;) :D

Strange shave of the day. Started with a 1940 GEM G-Bar and ended with a 1950 Gillette Super Speed. I don't know if the problem was in the blade, used only once before, or in the razor, but after the first pass it's seems like nothing happened on my skin. So I loaded the Gillette with a Feather blade, and it did a good work. Instead I can confirm the great performance of the 4in1 cream of Kiss my Face and of my Omega Syntex. At the end a pass of Zdrave cream and a lot of HBG Bay Rum aftershave.

    Gillette Fat-handled Tech
    Gillette 7 O'Clock (5)
    CWR
    Thayers Cucumber WH
    Pinaud Clubman AS

The TOBS Lavender SC face lathered very well with the Semogue 1305 boar brush. Two passes and touch ups on the neck with the Gillette Fat-handled tech and a Gillette 7 O'Clock blade left me near BBS. A cold water rinse followed by Thayers Cucumber WH and Pinaud Clubman AS left me clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I think the knot will be coming out of this one, I just don't care for the looks. It's too far out there even for me. I must admit, it performs well. Decent shave this morning but had a couple of small nicks. Have a good one.

SOTD Feb 20 -- Blade safari day 17

    Prep: Proraso pre-shave, hot shower
Razor: WW2 Gillette Khaki with ball end handle
Blade: Israel Viking Sword (day 1)
    Brush: Vie-Long
    Soap: Margaritas in the Arctic
    Passes: 2 (WTG, XTG)
    Post: Nivea Men cool kick

MITA lathered up great today, and there was plenty of it! Combined with the menthol in the Proraso pre-shave, I had my eyes watering.

I could still see enough to get me just shy of a DFS after two passes and minimal touch ups.
