I had to make the hidden parts just as well as the bits you can see ,with this one. I must admit that it is not my idea,I saw one like this some place but cant remember where,so if it was your idea that I just ripped off ,I apologize
The imperfections on the scales is light playing tricks ,dirty ones at that
    Kind regards Peter

The see through scales away look unique in my book!

I have seen a bunch of them as well so I don't think you have to worry about the idea. Nicely done!

No need to apologize, Peter! I'm glad to see someone picking it up and creating a slightly different version. You even used a clear spacer! Looks good! I like the blade you used, too.
Unfortunately, the scales won't stay that way. I found it a bit tricky to keep them clean from inside.

    Nice job!

Nice job, Peter. I like the clear ones also. Nenad made these for me back in early 06 and I put them on this Wunderedge.

Every time I see a set of those frosty acrylic scales of yours, I feel tempted to try it. It just looks too good! What did you use as a spacer, Bill?

    clear scales

I love the clear look, it looks clean and fresh...however I got some blanks too from Nenad and ,man am I toiling to get the finish on them, wood is easier to make look even, however when your work is transparent, now theres the trick...i kinda gave up on them and put them to the back of the pile till my head gets together with the process of a proper finish...nice work guys...merry Xmas.
